This Thai teen’s homemade outfits will blow your mind
A 15-year-old Thai teenager has become a new fashion icon recently, after he posted pictures of himself posing in homemade outfits.
Calling himself Thai Ban Fashionist on Instagram, Madaew has posted dozens of glamorous images, in which he is attired in his own self-constructed designs. His clothing features a range of materials including leaves and flowers native to his hometown, household essentials such as clothes hangers, cooking utensils and even bicycle tires.
Madaew’s creative style has attracted tens of thousands of followers on Facebook and Instagram. Some people say that the popularity of his designs has a revolutionary meaning for the fashion industry, as they seem to take a stand against luxury, the word most associated with fashion.
“Madaew is a designer who, as saying goes, has more dash than cash,” remarked @DewKrittika on Imgur.
